Grocery Story Closure in Texas

A West Dallas Grocery store recently closed, leaving residents who depended on the store without access to affordable, healthy food. Before its closure, it was the only grocery store in the area. Closures such as this one leave community members, especially those that are disabled or low income, without options close to their homes. West Dallas will see increased food insecurity and a lack of access to medicines as the grocery store and attached pharmacy ceases to be an option.
