Minnesota PFAS Suit
The city of Hastings, MN is suing Minnesota based company 3M for allegedly releasing PFAS chemicals into at least five groundwater and municipal wells. These “forever chemicals” don’t break down and have been linked to serious health problems, like some cancers. The complaint alleges that 3M has known about these chemical risks for decades but has mislead the public about those risks. 3M since said that they are committing billions toward mitigating PFAS exposure in the state.
