America’s Child Healthcare Crisis

A new study in the Journal of Pediatrics reveals that American children have less access to essential healthcare now than they did a decade ago. The study revealed many shocking changes in pediatric care nationwide, finding that 2.1 million children had lost access to top-quality lifesaving care from 2013-2021. The loss of access declined faster for children in urban areas than in suburban and rural areas.
