PFAS in Delaware’s Water
Veolia, Delaware’s drinking water supplier is suing nine companies for failing to prevent toxic PFAS chemicals from contaminating drinking water. These “forever chemicals” don’t break down and have been linked to serious health problems, like some cancers. The lawsuit alleges that the companies reasonably should have known they were releasing toxic chemicals into their environment and failed to take measures to limit PFAS contamination.
