Americans Demand 340B Transparency

Stephanie Maahs, a healthcare professional from Delaware wrote to USA Today explaining her disappointment with the 340B program. 340B is supposed to help Americans afford drugs by providing discounts to hospitals, but many hospitals are failing to pass those discounts onto their patients. The act increases oversights and strengthens reporting requirements. Our Health Equity advocates for large scale reforms to the 340B program, like the 340B ACCESS Act, that ensure patients have access to the medicine they need at a reasonable price. Read more here.
