Wisconsin’s PFAS Regulation Win

On March 2nd, Wisconsin Governor, Tony Evers announced new PFAS standards in drinking water. The new standard lowers the state’s threshold for PFAS contamination from 70 parts per trillion to 4.0 parts per trillion. These dangerous “forever chemicals” are linked to a host of health issues, including an increased risk of cancer. By lowering the acceptable contamination threshold, the state will improve the quality of drinking water for all Wisconsinites.
